They age at a slightly accelerated rate, so\r\ntheir maximum life spans are probably reduced somewhat.\r\nThe Guardian Project has not been operating long\r\nenough to observe the full effect of this phenomenon.\r\n[br]\r\n[b]Alignment.[\/b] Most hybrids share the generally neutral\r\noutlook of the Simic Combine. They are more interested\r\nin scientific research and the standing of their guild\r\nthan in moral or ethical questions. Those who leave the\r\nCombine, however, often do so because their philosophical\r\noutlook and alignment are more in line with a different\r\nguild's.\r\n[br]\r\n[b]Darkvision.[\/b] You can see in dim light within 60 feet\r\nof you as if it were bright light, and in darkness as if it\r\nwere dim light. You can't discern color in darkness, only\r\nshades of gray.\r\n[br][b]Animal Enhancement.[\/b] Your body has been altered to\r\nincorporate certain animal characteristics. You choose\r\none animal enhancement now and a second enhancement\r\nat 5th level.\r\n[br]\r\nAt 1st level, choose one of the following options:\r\n[br]\r\n[b]Manta Glide.[\/b] You have ray-like fins that you can use as\r\nwings to slow your fall or allow you to glide. When you\r\nfall and aren't incapacitated, you can subtract up to\r\n100 feet from the fall when calculating falling damage,\r\nand you can move up to 2 feet horizontally for every 1\r\nfoot you descend.\r\n[br]\r\n[b]Nimble Climber.[\/b] You have a climbing speed equal to\r\nyour walking speed.\r\n[br]\r\n[b]Underwater Adaptation.[\/b] You can breathe air and water, and you have a swimming speed equal to your\r\nwalking speed.\r\n[br]\r\nAt 5th level, your body evolves further, developing new\r\ncharacteristics. Choose one of the options you didn't\r\ntake at 1st level, or one of the following options:\r\n[br]\r\n[b]Grappling Appendages.[\/b] You have two special appendages\r\ngrowing alongside your arms. Choose whether\r\nthey're both claws or tentacles. As an action , you can\r\nuse one of them to try to grapple a creature. Each one\r\nis also a natural weapon , which you can use to make\r\nan unarmed strike. If you hit with it, the target takes\r\nbludgeoning damage equal to 1d6 +your Strength\r\nmodifier, instead of the bludgeoning damage normal\r\nfor an unarmed strike. Immediately after hitting, you\r\nca n try to grapple the target as a bonus action. These\r\nappendages can't precisely manipulate anything and\r\ncan't wield weapons, magic items. or other specialized\r\nequipment.\r\n[b]Carapace.[\/b] Your skin in places is covered by a thick\r\nshe ll. You gain a +1 bonus to AC when you're not wearing heavy\r\narmor.\r\n[br][b]Acid Spit.[\/b] As an action, you can spray acid from glands\r\nin your mouth, targeting one creature or object you\r\ncan see within 30 feet of you. The target takes 2d10\r\nacid damage unless it succeeds on a Dexterity saving\r\nthrow against a DC equal to 8 + your Constitution\r\nmodifier+ your proficiency bonus. This damage increases\r\nby 1d10 when you reach 11th level (3d10) and\r\n17th level (4d10). You can use this trait a number of\r\ntimes equal to your Constitution modifier (minimum of\r\nonce), and you regain all expended uses of it when you\r\nfinish a long rest.","tabledata":"","tags":"Guildmasters Guide to Ravnica, GGtR, Magic: the Gathering, MTG","templateId":"23","blockId":"313392","isShared":"on"}
