SESSION ONE - A Night to Remember

[Mubistar, 18th day of Sigen]

This story begins with a splash, literally! As a bucket of cold water is sloshed onto our two main subjects. A sleeping Captain Locke 'Golden Eyes' Arlin, a well built tiefling captain who helms a renowned ship known as 'The Arcadia.' While beside him, snoozes a plucky firbolg by the name of Elner, who's sheepish features, and outwardly kind nature hide a more sinister secret within.

They wake up soaked, as Fernando, from Fernando's Fish N' Chips tosses the now empty bucket to the side and tells them to scram. Accusing them of wrecking his restaurant the night before.

To their discovery, the restaurant is indeed trashed, with signs of a struggle involving a large beast. Not only that but both Locke and Elner are covered in bruises, scratches, bitemarks, and blood. Some of it their own, some of it belonging to others.

With barely time to process, Fernando shoos them away indignantly and resolves to attempting to clean up the mess they left.

The confused duo tries to figure out what happened, but before they can come to any guesses, they're met with Feather, a fairy that's known as "Duskmire's Bicycle" (because almost everyone has taken them for a ride.)

Feather lets them in on a hint for what they did last night, or rather, who they did last night, appreciating their apparent threesome a moment, before realizing they don't remember. But Feather does, they don't go into detail, but they're able to get some information before Feather leaves them to their day.

Wanting to take a moment to get cleaned up, Locke walks Elner to his appartment above the post office where the large Firbolg works, but on their way they're stopped by a disgruntled villager who accuses them of stealing his wallet. He tries to fight them but is quickly humiliated and redirected to go to Fernando's to go find his wallet. As Locke and Elner have no recollections on if they took his wallet or not.

Once past the interruption, Elner is able to get to the post office, speaking with his co-worker, Todd, a very tall night gaunt, who upon seeing how bad the firbolg looks, offers to cover the man's shift so he can get cleaned up and take it easy.

Elner does just that, and Locke leaves the firbolg to head off to his ship, the Arcadia, docked just down the block.

Upon getting to his ship, a couple of his mates ask where and how he's been, and also point out another strange piece to this puzzle. A goat, dressed up and covered in makeup.
Locke pushes past the surprise and decides to keep the goat! It can be the ship's mascot. At least that's until he finds out from one of his crew that the goat came from the Mothwing Sanctum.
There's very few authorities that Locke respects, and the Moths are one of them, so despite wanting a goat on the boat, he decides to do the right thing and return the animal to where it belongs.

Along the way to Mothwing, he ends up picking Elner up and pulling him along the rest of the adventure trying to figure out what in the fuck happened.

Upon reaching the sanctum, the duo and the goat are welcomed back. Though not remembering the first time they were here. The goat is brought back to its place among the elder moths, and curiously, Locke and Elner are brought into audience with the moths themselves, recognizing them from last night's events, one moth in particular wanting to talk to them about everything that happened after they left.

They learn that they stopped by the sanctum and talked to the moths at one point during the night. After quite the romping with Feather, of which a drunken Elner divulged in full detail to the moths.

Further more they learned they took the goat with permission, to be a set of eyes for the moths so they could learn what a stupor-filled escapade would be like. So Locke and Elner dressed her up and took her on the town.

A few more pieces of the puzzle. But not all of them... With the goat returned to the moths, the next step to be traced was where this wild romp took place.
