Legend of Creation

Before time began, the universe was a vast, empty nothing, devoid of life, empty of all things. Then from the vast and dark landscape came a beast of unknown origins, one whom had a taste for the empty, living its life as it sees fit. Perhaps this beast had consumed all that was and prevented all that would be. the all consuming, vast eldritch beast would swim through the empty cosmos and bask in the vast and unending darkness that it may have created. until one day, it would seek rest, tired from seeking more food to consume, tired of its long journey across the vast black cosmos of emptiness.

As its mind faded the beast had no possible concept it might create something new, it only sought too defile and end. yet as its mind closed off from its vast form came two beings. one of light, one of dark. Their forms rose from the Voids flesh, entering the vast empty, their parent at rest. the two beings played with one another, flitting across the vast empty painting lights and shadows across it all. However, as they came to a more conscious form, the two beings declared their names. the one of shadow, veiled by a shroud, spoke in a raspy yet warm voice, "I shall forever be named Sashiir, god of shadows, patron of the warm enveloping dark." As the being of light spoke the voice was firm and authoritative yet feminine in tone, "And i shall be Kahree, goddess of light and judgement."

So it was that for many decades, Kahree and Sashiir traversed around their patron creator the void and yet still it slept. However, something would be discovered that neither of them expected. as Sashiir toyed with his magic he began to form something, stone, rock, earth, fabricating a rough strewn shape. many jagged edges and holes inside a spherical shape, a central alcove nestled down that all the holes of it lead too. like a gnarled cage of stone. he thought for a moment and decided he would attempt to make it smoother. to form a stone ball of this jumbled mess. as he brought his collective magic power together the surface was covered in a rocky face, while circular it was far from smooth. simply a coat around a rough shape created bumps and smaller holes invisible to his shroud covered eyes. as he stared he felt... off about it. he tried to bring his magic power forward again and when he did suddenly much of the land was coated in water. vast oceans covered the entire landscape and only a single massive land was created. yet they still did not look appealing on a water covered planet.

Yet there was beauty yet to be seen. As Sashiir decided he would rather wipe the slate clean Kahree came forth and stopped his hand. she reached out with magic and touched the continent in the center her magic spread across its face and from it bloomed plants, greenery, trees and foliage, life sprung into existence and Kahree keened with joy, her twisted yet elegant visage plagued by happy emotions. her bright happiness brought eternal light to the lands bathing it in her warm glow. Kahree then sought to add life to the desolate landscape and thus spread fragments of her light across the surface. From the seeds sprung animals of all kind. Birds from the branches, Land creatures from the soil and ocean creatures of the waters. She had created something even Sashiir had not thought of and so Sashiir stared upon the land and thought to himself. the land needed variety, it was too large for all to be green. Yet he did not change it, he thought perhaps if he could set something to walk upon its surface to forge the land for their own with the will of the gods then perhaps he could create something beautiful in its own way.

He thought, he contemplated and he examined his surroundings and a thought came to him. For their essence is of its own will so too should the essence of humanity reflect the their own. Sashiir tore a piece of his heart from his flesh and held it in his hand. his blackened blood dripping to the lands below and landing in small pools all around. and then held a hand to Kahree "Allow me a fragment of light if you will" and she granted it. She held forth a shard of her light taken from her shawls, and with both pieces Sashiir brought them together. and as the two coalesced the fragments of shadow and light began to dance as the two gods had. Yet something was wrong as they did not slow as Sashiir and  Kahree had. they grew more and more volatile and it seemed to be at risk of mutually assured destruction and thus another thought came to mind. Sashiir returned to the still sleeping void and plucked out a fragment of it. A wisp of its enduring form and encased the wild fragments within its strong casing.

The now oval shaped item, glowed with brilliance and shadow, the shell encasing and taming the wild souls but ever on the precipice of something greater. its power radiated and magic flowed. and Sashiir knew it was not forever stable, even the slightest accident or malforming of the shell around the soul would result in an unstoppable burst of magic energy. for while in tandem the void would try to consume the light and dark as if instinctive. yet it could never seem to succeed. Sashiir took hold of the magical energy radiating from the soul, he shaped it and twisted its very form into a two legged being, its skin grey and ashen, its ears a short tipped point and the hair black as the space around them. its eyes were a deep grey, Kahree stared and recoiled. it was hideous, disturbingly so. As Sashiir stared at his creation with pride he smiled and breathed in. he named it Sashkii and he placed the being upon its surface.

He watched from above, unseen to the mortal eye for the Sashkii could not yet fathom the eldritch god in his truest form. Its mind complacent to what was unknown. As he watched Sashiir smiled. but soon as the being became aware its mind began to fragment, its body writhed and rejected the level of magical power which its soul produced and its eyes fell upon Sashiir wide and horrified, yet pleading. somehow it knew Sashiir to be his creator. In a panic Sashiir shot a hand out and taped his finger upon the Sashkiis  forehead and as he did the creature began to fragment, split and spread dozens, hundreds then THOUSANDS. For every split of the flesh the soul split as well and weakened its magical prowess and yet brought no pain to them. Though with this change came consequences. They could no longer see their god, only hear his faint cries. yet another issue arose for as each being was born of Sashkii they all looked as Sashkii had, each one a copy of their origin. all of them with the same body.

As the process settled Sashiir noted how similar many were, how confused at their similarities. He cast upon half of the Sashkii a special form, their bodies shaped and twisted. Breasts formed and genitals on each of the two halves would become different, some returned within, others jutted out in phallic fashion. Forming two genders, Male and Female. The changes were received differently by each and Sashiir saw upon his people a beauty he could not have imagined. What had almost certainly been a mistake would become a beautiful creation. in honor of his first creation he dubbed this new creature, Sashkii and his voice echoed out amongst his children "go forth Sashkii, my children, my legacy and forge your way amongst the land i have given you." and so they did as their god foretold and the voice with no face became their patron god. verdicts formed upon their lips and religions began to worship their father Sashiir, naming him the god of warm darkness and the creator.

Kahree would look upon the Sashkii with ire. imperfect and born of thievery in her eyes, she grew jealous, spiteful even. she was not hateful, but simply wished to create something better. Kahree in her moment of jealousy, would decide to form her own life. while she did not wish to steal from others. She took the remaining fragments of light from her shawl and began to surge forth with her magical light. Around each fragment formed pale skinned beings, Their ears long and pointed like blades and their eyes large and beautiful, holding the sparkling light of their creator within. They were taller than their Sashkii yet not as physically adept. KAhree named them Kahrenians and she loved them with a cold distant gaze so long as they remained their purity. Magic would be their strength, housing such great magical power that they were able to perceive the very visage of their goddess herself. She named them yet they could not see nor hear Sashiir. When Kahree set them upon the lands they met the Sashkii race. She believed they would fight and sashiir watched in hopes that they would not as he swore to not intervene more directly than guidance. The Kahrenians as they came to be called allied with the Sashkii. while the Kahrenians were versed and sensitive to magic the Sashkii were strong combatants and they worked in tandem to forge their way. in honor of the peace kahree erected a ball of light that would come and go around the planet bringing light and darknes in honor of their great creation Thus began the age of peacetimes for the Sashkii and kahrenians. Sashiir and Kahree had birthed A planet, a people a new world amidst the vast emptiness, they had created, Vaaria.

After the forming of the the first Sashkii soul, Sashiir had spread his blood upon the lands of Vaaria and in the wake of these blood falls became the many different lesser gods formed of his blood. their forms taking shape after the formation of the Sashkii and Kahrenians. each a unique place amongst their brethren.

The gods of nature who protected the forests and creatures within. The god of hunt Vassar the goddess of the forest Kaalaria and the goddess of flowers Ashana, each god brought their own love and justice to the forests. their blood droplets were smaller than the rest and spread wider so their power did not culminate as intensely and spread amongst three.

Far to the west a stone was formed at the top of the highest peak in the lands and that stone grew and grew and eventually became the god of rock and stone Kilmaarak, a sturdy deity who was stout and built to defend the mountains. He would safeguard the creatures of the forest and provide the Sashkii and Kahrenians with necessary minerals for weapons and tools so long as the ground was not plundered dry. All respected the giant stone god Atop the great mountain to the west and none dared challenge his will.

to the south formed a goddess of mysterious intrigue, her very form was that of a whisper, a breeze, a slight that changed as the tides. and she became the goddess of the winds Breliana, she would be what gave the world its winds and shaped the lands.

amid the ocean floor formed a goddess of the tides, her beauty unerring and her strength undeniable. with a flick of her wrist she could cast aside the very oceans themselves. she could part and crumble all things and yet she was mostly kind. untouched and unmarred by the land dwellers. her name became Lorca

to the east where the land was empty, where the world was uninhabited formed a god of equal invisibility, unseen by many as he was so far removed, cursed to forever walk upon the worlds surface amidst his lonely fields and be without. he grew to be sad and yet could find no circle of influence to call his own, and thus became the lonely god. his name became Chiredon.

then finally far to the north formed a god of cold, of stout resilience yet indifference. a god who while cold showed strength and rewarded those with the willpower to push onward. his name became Ishtaronil and his very presence would ignite a frozen landscape in the norther regions. Killing plants and driving all animals into extinction or into the cavernous crypts deep beneath the surface. The force of his change was so great that it forever shaped the north where he sat upon his frozen throne.

In seeing these gods form many Kahrenian and Sashkii began to worship them as they did Kahree and Sashiir and saw them as the children of them both. though they did not understand what formed these gods they associated them with a joining of both their patron gods and a sign of their two species being bonded. it was unfortunate however that Kahrenians and Sashkii could not bear offspring together. though they did try there were no successes. From this revelation Sashiir and Kahree agreed to take on mortal forms among the lands and see their peers. see these lesser gods and bonds were formed amongst them all. Sashiir offering each one a gift.

He came to the forest gods and granted them the gift of tree speak, that they were forever to live on in some form. the trees would no longer wither nor die so long as Sashiir lived and thus the world would be at peace.

Sashiir visited stone god, Kilmaarak, who wanted for nothing, despite the denial of his gift, Sashiir granted him a blessing. from then on no resource shall deplete and so long as he lived would forever return to the world ensuring that Kilmaarak would never need to fear the loss of resources due to any mortal races greed.

He visited the south and sought the goddess of winds, yet she eluded him and would not speak, but as a show of faith he spoke out and from thus forth should the wind goddess ever be felled even should sashiirt fall her body would be tied to the wind and she shall forever live on as the breeze. she was satisfied.

he visited the oceans depths and at its deepest fathoms Lorca spoke to him from her ancient temple not to further encroach her waters and he spoke in return. he decreed that she shall forever have her peace as she wished as a current swept around the temple forever sealing it but not denying her influence, she shall forever be hidden to mortal eye but lurking deep beneath she shall live. and forever shall she be able to influence the tides.

He travelled east and found the lonely god, Chiredon, who wept for the company tears of joy. he pleaded that Sashiir never leave yet of course Sashiir could not stay. he wept with the god, for his loneliness and he knew which gift he must give. he took a fragment of his own soul. small but there. and guided the god to an open clearing amidst a rocky cave. within he formed a doll, a husk, a woman made of the very clay among the soil and granted her a soul. though she did not speak she could move and gave the lonely god company. she became his lover and only friend. the god wept brilliant tears of happiness and was forever grateful to the god of shadows.

when he came to the god of the north he stared upon the god of shadows but in realizing he had reached Ishtaronil's throne. He shook Sashiir's hand and nodded in affirmation, an acknowledgement of the gods strength. when Sashiir asked what Ishtaronil desired the god took pause then looked around, he had created ice, and snow and yet no life was allowed to thrive. It all died within his cold embrace. and so he asked Sashiir not for power or enduring winters but for life which could be as strong as he, he wished for green in some form and animals which he could touch without fear. Sashiir was moved by this, the mans dedication not to prevent change but embrace it was unlike the other gods and so he brought forth life. wolves born of great and harsh conditions, that had hides thick and pelts thicker. fox's whose sly cunning could endure and a species of lizard unseen by man. these were but a few of the life forms Sashiir formed of the snows cold embrace. and in the ground he planted seeds and a trace of his blood and from the ground spouted berry plants that grew even in the cold winters. And a special flower to endure in the most pristine beauty, a snowflake lotus, which grows upon the surface of frozen lakes. Thus the god of snow and cold pledged fealty to Sashiir.

Amidst all this travel Kahree while uninvolved had witnessed it and she grew a respect for Sashiir and his involvement amongst the lesser gods. she came to him and sought to find an accord. and when she came to him she did not realize what all he had sacrificed. in the wake of this reality. She decided she would bear his child. to bring light and dark togetehr as one.

In the wake of Sashiir's aiding of the lesser gods, Kahree realized how much he had given for them to thrive and for Vaaria to succeed. she sought to repay his kindness and give back. they lie in their mortal forms amidst the crypts. for 40 days and 40 nights they lay there and for years none had seen the two gods. worried they had been harmed or something had gone wrong, the Kahrenians and Sashkii ventured into the crypts. A place so few had returned from and in a chamber they would be found and amidst the throes of conception. As Kahree screamed in agony Sashiir gave her comfort and in a beam of darkened light came forth a child.

Yet its cries tore through the air like rumbling stone and thundering skies. The very crypt they stayed in began to shudder and Crack, as the lands began to shake and fragment the entire continent was beginning to tear asunder. The ground shifted and quaked entrances to the crypts never before seen were opened and in the light of the sky the child's visage became clear. Twisted and deformed. Its body a grotesque malformation in Kahree's arms, she reeled at the sight and cried in shame that they had birthed such a monster. She passed it to Sashiir and looked upon his shrouded visage for any sign of possible disdain to match her own but she saw only warmth and he stroked the child's face, he spoke calmly "come now, even the most strange thing can find purpose and I have an idea for what that might be. I shall journey to the center of the world and bring our child there to serve a purpose." As he spoke this he began to travel into the crypts even as the entire continent was torn asunder.

To the east the lonely gods lands split away torn away from the mainland and floated out to the seas, to the south the forest of the winds spirit were whisked apart at such a rate that the heat from the motion coated the land in fog. to the west the stone lords land was torn from its bindings and the great mountain was sent careening into the distance far from the shoreline. The north was sent spiraling away, though each was gone they left behind small traces of their lands behind. the last of the main continent was left in the center slowly cracking and crumbling. everything slowly crumbling away to dust.

Amidst all the chaos and the destruction Sashiir carried his child as Kahree followed along with the elves and the Sashkii. They were guided into the bowels of the world. the deepest any had gone and when they approached the massive cave system, it was discovered that the cavern was the center of it all. Sashiir resolutely walked into the center and laid his child upon the ground. He tore from his chest a final piece of his heart and placed it in the child's mouth, yet the child did not spit it out. then despite her protests he took a fragment of Kahree's light from her shawl, placing it upon the child's tongue and closed its mouth with thread from his robe, though this did little to quiet the earth shattering cries. Sashiir proceeded to pulled forth a chunk of his great staff, gleaming with violet light and as he did he knelt closing his eyes in silence and with a singular motion and a thrust he stabbed the deformed child through its chest and silenced its cries, Black and white blood splattered across the floor in Reaching tendrils and many of those viewing let our a resounding gasp.

Kahree smiled in satisfaction presuming that Sashiir came to kill the child. Though as he stepped back a blue light gleamed from the stick in the infants chest and the blood began to glow an iridescent blue. as the room began to ignite with magic and mana the room crackling as the blood like tendrils reached out and rose in the form of a glowing bright blue tree. its branches grew and grew and grew and the branches dug into the walls of the caver stretching out and the worlds shaking began to cease. as it grew to its full massive size it began to hold the crumbling world together. the branches budding with blue droplets of pure mana, thus dubbed mana fruit. their glowing blue light an eerie reminder of the presence of magic. the Mana flow was so great that it formed many pools of magic all over the world, where before mana pools had formed due to the creation of  Vaaria now the mana pools grew even more unstable and the slightest touch might erupt them. any further magical disruptions could result in destruction on an unnatural scale.

In the wake of the world tree forming. Kahree spoke out "this... this is an abomination i wont stand for it! kahrenians we leave may kahrenians and Sashkii never be allies for their god is a fool. something so imperfect as that deformed offspring could exist. it was a sign that light and dark shall never coexist!" and with that she and her followers fled far away into the distant lands of the west. The Kahrenians and Sashkii simply avoided one another yet there was no conflict. in the aftermath the world settled into an uneasy peace.

In the wake of the world tree the cries had not only decimated the planet. in the Empty high above the void began to stir, its mind becoming aware and as it did it gazed upon Vaaria and it seethed. its tremendous fury screamed out but as the god child's cries echoed out the  voids roar could not be heard. It saw what had happened, in its rest its energy had birthed two deities and those deities had created something in its beautiful nothing. gathering its last remaining strength it spat out a true child. one born of void. one which was truly evil and sent it upon the crypts deep below. it landed upon a black flower which had grown from Sashiir's blood in the crypts. this flower twisted, decayed and rotted into a black mush like a fungal growth and from it sprouted a small girl glad in robes that hid all but her smiling face. a wicked, twisted smile that showed only pure evil intent. she would sow chaos upon this life infested planet before her father consumes it and they all become one with the void. she walked from the depths, her feet crackling the stone with void as she went. the very ground becoming taint with her essence. she grazed a small finger across a Mana Fruit and it rotted and withered, the iridescent blue glow fading where she went. swallowing all light whole. she knew what must be done. the gods must die. and she would sow the seeds of war. Her name shall be Ashkaari, goddess of the Void.

AS the child emerged from the crypts she disappeared in a billow of black smoke and travelled across the land to the west where she found Kahree and her Kahrenian followers. She was only seen by Kahree and she spoke to her "Sashiir's a fool is he not? perhaps you should bring your perfected light upon his lands and punish the lesser gods" while Kahree did not know it, Ashkaari had planted the seeds of war. while she disappeared she frequently whispered words of instigation into her head, she told her of lies and treachery and how no gods should be but light as she had contributed far more. The animals, plants and Kahrenians. They were hers. She even claimed it was Sashiir's fault the child was deformed and that he was a monster. slowly Kahree's light became tainted by void, her eyes growing black when once they were white. The light of her shawl faded from white to violet and she was directed to the western continent. to the great mountain of Kilmaarak. as Kahree approached the great stone giant spoke familiarity. and she would not return the sentiment yet all to late did Kilmaarak realize Kahree's treachery. as she approached his base which stuck from the very top of that mountain. Behind Kahree the god could see the small form of Ashkaari and her twisted smile and as Kahree placed a hand upon the base of Kilmaarak he shuddered and he let out an ear piercing scream, the earth around him rumbling as he cracked and flailing, crying in keening agony, his body cracking from base to tip with a fiery red glow. and in his eyes glowed blackness, a cry of agony let loose as his soul left his body a purple being spat up among his bile that came from his gullet. in the violet taint sat a figure clad in robes with purple skin and glowing purple eyes. its face spoke of gold indifference and death. As Kilmaarak body shattered and fragmented his body erupted in agonizing pain his final scream interrupted by a loud boom that shook the lands and sent lava and fire careening across all the way to the mainland burning the wester side of it to ash and sand. the forests around the great mountain burned to ash and dust, stone melted as the fire took all, and in the center of that once great mountain lie a figure clad in stone armor, his orange fiery skin and visage painted with a hateful scowl one that wished to see the world burn before his eyes. he raised a shard of obsidian and let out a war cry.

for Ashkaari possessing the knowledge of the void knew that if one was to kill a god with corrupted void magic h could birth new evil entities. the god of Chaos Destolian and the god of death Thyrrus. In the wake of their creation al the gods could hear. Sashiir felt his blood run cold. the nature trio had perked their attentions and wailed at the destruction of the trees and animals. even Ishtaronil heard it and stood from his icy throne to the north. the goddess of wind finally shoed her wind strewn form, a being with wings like an insect and green hair, she flew to Sashiir's side along with all but the lonely god to the east who had yet to discover his center. and as the gods of evil came forth to the mainland they approached the  gods and thus the war of the gods began.

in the wake of Kilmaarak's demise and the birth of the two gods of evil. Ashkaari had begun the war. god fought god on equal playing field, destruction and doom etched the fields of battle forever changing the lands. the forests where the center of the land had been became gnarled and twisted into a jungle. The frozen north became scarred by battle and to the west Ashkaari unleashed a disease that twisted the souls of the Sashkii tainting them with a curse to forever die young. all who neared 100 became weak and feeble cursed to die of illness or simply degradation. Battled waged on and on and the first of the void corrupted appeared. as Ashkaari had twisted the land she touched so too did the souls of those she touched become tainted by her void poison. she drew forth the void in the souls of the Sashkii she could find and they became void Corrupted monsters, their body taking on gnarled and twisted forms of themselves that resembled blackened wood.

They attacked their fellows and no weaponry seemed to harm the feral beings. in the forests, even the goddess of the wood, Kaalaria had become mangled and spread her twisted malformation cross the forests. Ashana the goddess of flowers did what she good but in the wake of the battle Kaalaria had taken her life before the eyes of Vassar. Her blood spilled upon the earth and formed crimson red flowers in that grove and in his fury Vassar attack Kaalaria, they stuck blow upon blow until Vassar coughed up black blood, fighting through the taint of the void, until finally with one final leap he found the head of Kaalaria and ripped it from her shoulders her black void tainted blood tainted the flowers around them, painting Ahana's  red flowers black with spots that would never leave and with a final war cry the great god of the hunt fell to his knees spent as life left his eyes and he became consumed in void calcification. An ailment when the void finally overtakes all parts of a corpse.

as the god of hunt fell to death to the east the lonely god Chiredon felt it, a spark an ignite within his spirit and as he reached out he plucked something from the air. he drew the soul of Vassar and Ashana from the very afterlife and guided them to a portal. much to the confusion of his doll companion whom he had few words with. but he knew he would be integral in the coming days.

though the ocean goddess did not fight only one thing is known, in the depths Ashkaari had found her and twisted her with void, her body stuck in place as it tainted the lower segments of the oceans. the Abyss forming from the corpse of a tainted goddess of the ocean, creatures of twisted visage coming forth, spawned from her body and forever tainting the sea, her body blackened the depths and thus was born the abyss.

The god of chaos, Destolian, fought against the ice god Ishtaronil, the flaming blade of chaos and the frozen blade of Resolution clashing and causing massive explosions. they shaped the land and eternal ice was born from their clash. inevitably though Destolian brought Ishtaronil to his knees and decapitated him before burning hi body atop his frozen mountain, his crown of eternal ice still laid upon his head as it was throw off to the side to rot and wither.

the goddess of wind herself broke free and faced Thyrrus. she tried her hardest but not even the wind can escape deaths clutches. her soul was ripped from her by Thyrusses bare hands. her body an empty husk as he consumed it and placed it deep in her ancient woods to the south hidden far away in from it the mist grew stronger and masked the island from sight never to be seen again.

with all the gods aside from Kahree and Sashiir still around Destolian and and Thyrrus approached the god of shadows who stood in solemn silence. they raised their weapons to strike him down and yet when thy did something seemed strange as Sashiir raised his black wooden staff with the violet gem atop it. a light glowed and in an instant Destolian was sent hurtling back to the great volcano in the western continent where he was pinned in its fiery depths by his own blade which began to absorb his essence leaving him trapped in his blade within the fiery depths of the volcano for all eternity. Thyrrus felt his soul be torn away from his body. as he was suddenly In a  land of ethereal energy. his corporeal body dissipating to ash as he was but the soul of a dead god. in the misty and ruined landscape the echoes of different agonized screams could be heard, the cries of ancient gods from worlds long since consumed by the void. and in this realm all were spirits of the dead. in the distance a bell could be heard ringing out. resolute and solemn. and from the mist came the only corporeal thing. Chiredon his power realized as he reached the bell out he engulfed the god of deaths spiritual essence and thus now was the lord of death and spirits. as Chiredon returned to the living world he unleashed deaths soul upon the world, for all shall be succumbed by death. for it is a mercy. though when and how that may come none shall live forever even the gods themselves.

as death had been unleashed Sashiir made his way to the world tree. the place where his son had been made whole. his suffering ended and as he walked down the corridors he could hear the mutterings and cries of madness and as he approached the world tree Kahree stood there her hands raised in madness as she swayed and cackled. her brilliant light now tainted by the void. she turned and faced Sashiir who spoke now words. for the goddess of light had become no more. he raised his scepter. and from the air formed shards of purple energy, of darkness and he sent them towards Kahree. she dodged in her madness and opened her shawl when send fragments of light tainted with black towards Sashiir. yet for all she sent they all missed for she knew nothing of what she did and with 5 wet thuds she coughed up black bile. her blood tainted. she fell to her knees and Sashiir approached. the air silent around them. The only sounds being the coughs of Kahree and the sound of wood upon stone. Sashiir stood before Kahree and stared at her solemnly. she stared at him with hateful violet eyes and spoke in a tainted guttural tone "the void giveth to you, and the void taketh back, your kind are a blight now be swallowed by the voids hunger and-" a slash could be heard as Sashiir took her head off to end it quickly. as he stood he placed a hand upon the world tree and closed his eyes and as he did he saw the smaller forms of his Sashkii followers arriving and bowing in reverence. Sashiir turned to them and as he did he heard more footsteps from the other side of the antechamber. he saw the kahrenians coming forth. their bodies clearly affected by the void as their once pale skin had crown greyed and their eyes black no longer possessing that light. but even as they stood there they looked upon the dead goddess Kahree and fury flashed in their faces. no words were spoken even the Sashkii knew they were now enemies. the kahrenians left and returned to their hidden base and would not be seen for the rest of the war.

all the while the sky had begun to grow dark, Kahree's light had dissipated with her death and the land of Vaaria began to grow pitched as the void began to envelop the planet. it was slow and sluggish as it had just awoken. Ashkaari had all but vanished. the world was surely doomed. and yet Sashiir with his secret knowledge knew of one way. as he stood above Kahree he snapped and forth game Chiredon. in his hands he held a white light. larger and brighter than most and he offered it to Sashiir who too it gingerly like a child. he turned to his followers and nodded for them to follow. for there was no other way. He lead his people into the depths of the crypts. He guided the Sashkii into a hidden tomb he had constructed ages prior. within that tomb lie a stone slab and ancient torches that emitted eternal blue flames.

His people knew nothing of his plan but he spoke to on of hi people through writing and by etching the instructions upon the wall he drew tears from the Sashkii. they knew what must be done. Sashiir handed his staff to the elder, his face etched with understanding and somber acceptance. He brought the staff and planted it standing upright at the foot of the stone slab. as Sashiir walked he held the soul of Kahree in his grasp and laid upon the stone slab on his back, his shroud growing dark and his face silently relaxing. the elder began to chant. Deep guttural speech unheard of and as he did the staff erupted with chain, binding Sashiir's body to the slab. smoke erupted from where the chains bound Sashiir's body and seared into him. the torches erupted violet flames and as Sashiir's body withered his soul escaped his form, twisting and coiling around Kahree's soul and from that tomb erupted a dark light.

violet and white hues echoed and tore through the sky towards the void as its ghastly twisted form roiled above and before it could fully encase the planet the light and shadow of the gods souls erupted around the plant, spreading out across the world. the black of Sashiir's soul erupted in a  brilliant display of lights and shadow. speckles of Kahree's light twinkled amidst Sashiir's dark soul and encased the planet in a barrier to hold back the void. a large fragment became a white orb in the speckled sky scape and on one side of the planet a piece so brilliant it lit up the entire light and blended into Sashiir's dark soul. for once light and dark were bound in perfect harmony. thus did the sky become corporeal.
