I am a professional worldbuilding consultant, editor, and fiction author. I'm also a co-founder of Television Sky.
You may also know me as the Bard of Velvet and Extractor of Pain. }:)
I'm a reluctant poet, fountain pen collector, and dice hoarder. I read Fowler's Dictionary of Modern English Usage for fun and have the lunatic joy of being friends and family with some of the wildest gunslingers to ever put smoke on paper.

Interests & Hobbies
You can find me at GenCon every year! I love board and card games and have a collection of over 300. I knit, crochet, dye yarn, and occasionally try my hand at spinning (to mixed results).
Favorite Movies
My go-to movies are usually by Mel Brooks and Monty Python. But then there's also Clue and the Princess Bride. And Tarantino, always Tarantino. The Scream movies and Wes Craven's New Nightmare belong on the list, as well. Rise of the Guardians was a magnificient piece of world-building, and the Dungeons & Dragons movie with Chris Pine is a special sort of amazing.
Favorite TV Series
I will forever love-love-love Beavis and Butthead. (Go ahead and sneer, Sir Patrick Stewart and I will be over here eating it with a spoon.) Rick & Morty, The Twilight Zone, and The X Files have heavy influence on me.
Favorite Books
Anathem by Neal Stephenson, and his Baroque Cycle, Seveneves, Cryptonomicon. The Phineas Poe trilogy by Will Christopher Baer. Dermaphoria by Craig Clevenger. As the Waltz was Ending by Emma Butterworth. The Anne books by Lucy Montgomery. The Midnight Vault anthology.

Favorite Games
I love Gloom, because it's a story telling game. Of course. Big fan of Tokaido and National Parks; Villainous, Betrayal At Baldur's Gate, and Azul are also perenneal favorites. I especially love games that are beautiful to look at. Bonus points if there are cats.
