Special Maneuvers
Direct Fire - Make an attack roll instead of designating a point at a target within range. A direct hit with the launched object or device will deal an additional 2d6 Bludgeoning damage to the target, ignoring armor. A target that has been directly hit will have disadvantage on their saving throw. If the attack misses, the object or device will sail past the target and hit any vertical surface in its path or travel to the end of its effective range, then detonate if it is explosive.
Launch Device - Launch a single loaded object up to 90 feet to a point of your choosing. Grenades and similar objects with an area of effect inherit their original properties for that area of effect. The Sling Catch can be changed out for a larger sling catch to launch additional objects.
Special Properties
Junk Launcher - Up to 5 lbs of assorted objects can be launched by this weapon at a time. The mass is increased by changing out the strings in the pulley for strings with higher tension ratings.
Stealthy - This weapon doesn't attract nearly as much attention as a firearm. After attacking, roll a Stealth check versus the chosen target's Passive Perception.
Loading: Uses a Bonus Action to load a projectile.
Jamming: This weapon does not jam
Handling: 1-Handed
Sometimes the Powrie come up with unconventional weapons. The 'Boom-Boom' is one of them. It is effectively a silent grenade launcher, but really a pulley-based slingshot system meant to deploy grenades over a great distance stealthily. This weapon was developed completely independently of the Chiral Lanza, but great minds think alike, don't they? This slingshot boasts enhanced range over its Chiral counterpart but lacks the scrapshot option.
