Description

One of the main accomplishments of the Deffmeks, is the Deffboy. These Goblins possess what are essentially imitations of rifles against the Dwarfish guns. But instead of single-fire weaponry, the Deffmeks created the Duffbar, which is a semi-automatic rifle with a nine bullet magazine. This weapon is extremely dangerous for those that are put at the other end of the barrel, and in many cases are shot to high heaven by the trigger-happy Goblin type. However, the Deffboy is intentionally trained to combat those typical behaviors of the species, and instead elects to use it efficiently in a combat scenario.   Deffboys like to use cover and extend their range as far as they can and with a certain tack, pick off their opponents from afar. They behave much like their kind that elects to use ranged weapons, only that they utilize a gunpowder-based firearm. It is reasonably said that a Goblin Deffboy will fire at their opponents nearly once every two seconds, an accurate round going towards its intended target. Their rifles are usually loaded, so they technically carry at minimum, 27 rounds on their person.   Deffboys are Level IV Goblins.   Gear: Duffbar (Rifle), Skrap Armor (Medium), 2 GP, 24 Duffschuden (Bullets)

Ideals

Military. (Lawful) A Deffboy has a certain place in Goblin military hierarchy, and it is somewhat defined to the extent that such a rifleman has to ensure that they are on top of their game.

Bonds

Firearm. (Occupation) When a Deffboy isn't in combat or in training, they are often cleaning their rifle and ensuring that it operates as best as it can, which to Goblin standards is usually as long as it can fire a bullet.

Flaws

Hysteria. (Personality) Deffboys are an excitable kind of Goblin, and will pounce on the notion of getting to do something exciting. In other times, they may panic when they find that their position is compromised.

Suggested Environments

The rifle-bearing Goblins are seen in Goblin encampments, cities, towns, mountains, high-up places, forests, hills, and other locations where they can gain a vantage point. Typically it is understood that a Deffboy is also in a place that allows for the carrying of sound, as their sensitive ears cower in the shocking power of their rifles being discharged.


Unique Traits.
Mekboy's Courage.
When a Deffmek is within 20 feet of a Deffboy, a Deffboy can make two attacks with the Duffbar instead of one.
Ovaheat.
For a bonus action, a Deffboy can alter the damage type to Fire damage by smacking the magazine attached to the rifle.
This effect lasts for one turn and can be used again at the start of its next turn.

Actions

Duffbar. +3 to hit, single target. Reload. 3/ammo per attack, 9/ammo per magazine. 100/240 ft. range, 11 3d6+1 Piercing damage.
